Amazing views, coyotes and others animals noises at night (far away but really cool to listen to) and really clean area (all the camping but also the bathroom). The lady was really kind and gave us a lot of tips to spend a nice time in Albuquerque.
Overall we really loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back!
This is a great place to stay if you're near Albuquerque. We called after business hours and got a really nice woman that helped us reserve a spot. Once we arrived, she came right out and took us to our campground. We had just bought an RV so she gave us a bunch of tips and also checked in on us later that evening. The campground was clean and not too close to the next spot, the view was really pretty and it was quiet. Each campsite has a shelter with a picnic table, A water spout and a grill (charcoal). They have free showers and restrooms close by, as well as a dumpster for garbage and a dumping station. We also saw a playground and access to a park and the Rio Grande River. If you have a RV they have a 30 and 50 amp hookup. It's walking distance to a gas station and an IHOP.
It's an OK campground near Albuquerque with nice views, but it needs serious upgrades and more security.
Very nice staff, thank you Louise, nice level camp sites, clean spotless bathrooms, and quite. .only problem is getting into the campground due to heavy traffic and construction going on at the entrance. Watch for the Coronado State Memorial sign..and be ready to turn right onto road..
Beautiful mountains. Clean. Peaceful. Thorns in ground cover bad for dogs feet.
