Enjoyable place to stay. Older but clean with bare necessities, dressers, night stand, desk and chair, 2 queens, tv, plenty of lights and a ceiling fan, beds and bath were clean, full length mirror and pass thru door to neighboring room.
Booked a room here because Holiday Inn had no available rooms. It wasn't the worst hotel I've been to but it came close. First, the staff was not very professional. The place is in need of major updating. The carpet in the hall way on the third floor had bleach stains that ran across the entire floor. The carpet had large stains and in need of replacement. The room advertised queen beds, but they seemed to be full size, not queen. Our keys to our room kept erroring out, had handful of bags and had to go all the way back down to bottom floor for them to fixed. Several times the janitor's closet left wide open for all to see the hotel's junk. Broken AC left in hallway, broken fridge outside, maintenance dept needs to tighten up in this area.
I had no problems. It was exactly what you would expect from a Days Inn. The room was clean. The continental breakfast had waffles you could make yourself, eggs, sausage and a few other things (bagels, cereal).
Came here to attend a wedding but am certainly coming back just to vacation.
The staff here is excellent. Polite, helpful, and with the rare skill set of having good manners. In fact, this whole town was refreshing in that showing good manners seems to be ingrained into the culture here.
Not extremely great but decent. We had to ask for new sheets as soon as we walked in because there was hair all over the bed. Didn't even think about using the pillows. But they were quick at getting us new sheets so not too bad.
The rooms are more than satisfactory, only wish there was more hot water for my shower. However, rooms are pleasant and restful.
Lots of room for improvement and until then won't be staying here again.
