I'm guessing they are only friendly to local residents they know. I moved here to Bernalillo about 4 months ago and have gone to this store as a convenience, it is only 3 min from my house. Not the best prices but seem fair. I would of rated this place 4 stars but every time I go they do not greet me, they just stair at me. I would like if they would simply ask "did you find everything you were looking for? " or "Hello how are you?" Simple things that can make me feel like a valued customer. Even family dollar gives better customers service.
Really dont mind paying the extra cents and dollars for the convenience of being minutes away. Nice calm and clean store
They still have a butcher shop the best meat in New Mexico. Locally owned and operated. A old hometown store. Love it.
